Use the links below to complete the steps to becoming a Florida State Animal Response Coalition Animal Disaster Responder.

Becoming an Animal Disaster Responder

In order to be registered as a Florida SARC responder, you must first complete the Florida SARC Awareness Level Small Animal Emergency Sheltering course. Once you have successfully completed the class, you can complete the FL-SARC volunteer application.

After your application is approved, you can add, modify, and update your profile as you take more courses, report volunteer service hours, or revise personal information. Should you be requested to deploy, you will be able to know what duties are requested and schedule your response availability.
